2.2 Replace alt bullet proof doors with standard doors. This
credit includes removal of all wall bulletproofing and bullet
proofing of the lower portion of the Acme partitions
Deduct $125,771.00
3. Eliminate the folding wall partitions at Rooms 34-44,45
and 46. Replace with Type 2 partitio.n walls. Deduct $21,262.00
4. Eliminate Overly safe door. Deduct $4,786.00
6. As per Joe Aliotta of Swanke, Hayden and Connell, this
change consists of constructing the hurricane walls of
the same framing as shown on Detail 1 on drawings D-7.
The profile of these walls will be the same as partition
types shown on the drawings. All bulletproofing has been
eliminated but shielding and transducers will remain. All
blast proof doors and access doors will be furnished and
installed as per Swanke's fax message of 6/27/98. All
electric operated dampers will also be furnished and installed
as per same letter. This proposal supersedes the hurricane
wall budget of $473,870 previously submitted Add $167,252.00
In the event that bulletproofing is added to hurricane wall. Add $188,934.00
In the event that manual dampers are installed in lieu of
electrically operated dampers. Deduct $45,205.00
All the additions and deletions above include 8% Genera! Conditions, 6% Overhead & Fee
end 1.26% Insurance.
