Dear Ms. Giliberti;
We are in receipt of Richard Ramos' letter dated 6/18/98 and have reviewed Mr. Ramos' items
with Joe Aliotta of Swanke's office for clarification. Please find the following scopes and
proposal changes;
1, Electrical
a. Substitute by cable in lieu of EMT conduit for all work
inside the tenant space. Stub-ups for tel/data and
audio visual will still be in EMT piping. Deduct $34,773.00

b. Delete all tel/data cabling as Indicated In the electrical
contractor's bid. Deduct $229,691.00-^ ; ’
c. Eliminate the following A/V requirements:
- All 13" monitors in BOC area. Switching cannot be
eliminated because it controls other equipment. Deduct $29,420.00
- Down grade press A/V feed to providing service to
(1) camera in lieu of multiple cameras shown. Deduct $6,375.00
- Cabling and switches for external feeds. Deduct $4,636.00
*See Ace Communication's letter dated 6/23/98 detailing $34,475 change attached. Ace
has also indicated that the switches controlling the above referenced work cannot be
eliminated because the/ control other equipment. These switches would have to be
redesigned and may result in a cost savings. Shen, Mtlson and Wilke should be
consulted.
•See R.B. Samuels’ letter clarifying $273,000 for supervision, drafting, engineering, tools,
and job expenses attached.
2.1 Eliminate all steel walls, floors and ceilings at the safe
room. This includes the addition of changing walls to a

Type 2 partition and adding a 2.2 lay-in ceiling in lieu of
steel shown. Deduct $1,469.00
