D. Common Carrier Coordination
The construction of the OEM dispatch center communication Bcifities must be coordinated and synchronized with all common carriers. The services listed here will insure that the carrier facilities arc identified and properly inventoried early in the project. A new services installation plan can begin once all services have been properly noted.
1. Conununicaiion Service Provider Planning
1.1 Determine identity of all current carriers along with OEM forecast for future carriers 1.2 Contact carriers and outside plant engineers regarding primary and diverse entrance construction. 1.3 Locate Service Entrances and identify manholes, underground conduit, house riser or other facilities to be constructed or reused. 1.4 Determine environmental data for Main Telecommunication Closet (i.e., electrical, HVAC, security, etc.) 1.5 Obtain outside plant underground conduit searches and determine capacity requirements. 1.6 Coordinate activities of various carriers with construction management.
