Responsibilities Mr. Cosiol is a managing principal and project manager for electronic systems, including
voice and data communication systems, computer-based security and energy management
systems (EMCS), and automation systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional fa
cilities. His responsibilities pertaining to security and communications include direction of
site investigations, threat analysis, development of security goals and objectives, prepara
tion of detailed designs, and identification and evaluation of system alternatives. He also
supervises drawing documentation, system punch-put, and testing.

Experience/ Mr. Cosiol prepared a security evaluation study for this large bank headquarters. The final
Qualifications product included the criteria necessary for establishing a complete security design as well as
a series of typical security scenarios for various floor arrangements.
Sterling Winthrop Inc., Pharmaceuticals Research Division, Upper Providence Township, PA
Design and documentation of complete security and communications cabling system for a
1300,000 SF pharmaceutical R&D complex. The design includes over 12 miles of fiber optic
cable as a campus backbone for voice and data; a distributed PBX; and unshielded twisted
pair and fiber optic cable to approximately 2,000 workstations. Mr. Cosiol was Project Direc
tor for complete security analysis and design for this 1,500,000 SF pharmaceutical R&D
complex. The project included threat analysis and thorough technical review of security
alarm, CCTV, and manufacturers' card access equipment to determine what was best suited
to the project. Magnetic stripe, proximity, and Weigand card access technologies were con
sidered. In addition to a complete security communications center, system equipment included
71 CCTV cameras with fiber optic video transmission, 100 card readers, and remote control of
exterior gates. Mr. Cosiol also developed bid-ready technical package and design for renovating
and upgrading an existing security and card access system Based on a detailed technology
study, a completely new central processing system was specified and provided.

Site investigation and preliminary design for computer controlled intrusion detection sys
tem at five classified sites.
Glaxo, Inc, Research Triangle Park, NC
Etesign of intrusion detection, access control, and a closed-circuit television system requir
ing 20 miles of fiber optic cable, for this 1,500,000 SF R&D complex. A full exterior/interior
security system for the Sales Training Center and Scale-up Facility for this leading drug
manufacturer. The design was taken from the conceptual to a complete construction-ready
package and installation observation services. The design includ^ multiple security and
access levels ranging from administrative offices to highly secure file, drug testing, and haz
ardous materials areas. CCTH, electronic and manual security measures were integrated
into an overall campus distributed processing system with boA central and satellite moni
toring and display stations. Current work involves a large scale facility expansion including
two new high-rise laboratory and administrative buildings.
