science and ceramics. Also included are CADD and other computer facilities. Wet pipe
sprinklers and dry pipe sprinklers, aided by a centrifugal fire pump, protect the facility.

Architectural/engineering design, documentation, and construction administration for foe
Lewis W. Bluemle, Jr. Life Sciences Building, a 289,000 SF medical laboratoiy building dedi
cated to research and teaching in the fields of biochemistry and microbiology. Design included
total flooding carbon dioxide along with preaction, wet pipe and dry pipe sprinkler systems
aided by a centrifugal fire pump to protect the facility.
