Time: 10:00 A.M. Place: M.T.C.C.C. 51 Chamber Street New York, NY 10013 Purpose: 30% Design Review Attendance: R. Lawrie - N.Y.C.D.O.T., M.T.C.C.C. H. Kamamis - N.Y.C.D.O.T., M.T.C.C.C. /R. Aggarawaf - N.Y.C.D.E.P., Sewers R. Sturm - LIRR J. Brusko - SSV&K D. Yue - SSV&K Discussion: 1. Bureau of Sewers requested calculation of flow in proposed 30" DIA. R.C.P. if its capacity is less than the existing 4'-0" x 2'-8" sewer. 2. Manhole No. 1 will be a N.Y.C.D.E.P. Bureau of Sewers type A-1 or A-2 manhole as required by its depth. 3. SSV&K introduced a plan for reconnection of 6" DIA. and 24" DIA. force mains from a sump in Penn Station. These pipes are believed presently to connect i to that portion of the 4'-0" x 2'-8" existing sewer to be replaced under this contract. SSV&K will attempt to verify the existence and location of this * connection. 4. SSV&K will add notes received from N.Y.C.D.E.P. Bureau of Sewers to these drawings and will make other minor changes indicated by that agency. 5. Bureau of Sewers will forward additional notes to SSVK concerning potential conflicts between house connections to sewers and existing water mains. 6. M.T.C.C.C. will obtain comments from City agencies not in attendance at this meeting, specifically bridge and water supply agencies. It was suggested that SSV&K similarly obtain comments from the private utilities.
