Memorandum to Douglas Smith, P.E. February 29» 1988 Re: Amtrak Page 2 c. Except for an addition of 3.0 cfs to the 72nd Street trunk sewer as a result of new connections, to which this office has no objection, there will be no additional flow at any of the existing Amtrak sewer connections. In view of the above this office has no objections to this proposal as shown on the plans. 2. On Dwg. D-1 Is shown a detail of an Amtrak manhole #N-13, which Indicates a large drop to the outgoing 12” diameter connection pipe. Although this department has no jurisdiction or responsibility for this manhole. It Is suggested that a drop pipe be used within this manhole to facilitate maintenance by Amtrak. Your submitted plans are herewith returned to you.
