TO: mag G, P. E., CHIEF, Engineering Review Section PROM: FREDRIC J. POCCI, P. E., CHIEF, Division of Sewer Maintenance

SUBJECT: Dey Street from Church Street to Broadway, Manhattan (World Trade Center Underpass) #80-8

This office has reviewed the attached contract plan and is returning it to you with the following comment. The proposed 15" R.C.P. sewer between the existing manhole, which is at the intersection of Dey Street and Church Street, and manhole 3 should be ductile iron pipe instead of the proposed R.C.P. pipe. In addition, the drainage section should conduct a study to check the adequacy of the proposed modification.
