5. Field tests

a. Tests shall be conducted by a competent qualified organization maintaining skilled personnel experienced in applying high po­ tential cable tests. The Subcontractor shall submit to the Engineer the name of the organization and personnel who are to con­ duct the tests, for approval. b. A complete record of all high potential tests shall be kept. The record shall in­ clude but not be limited to: (1) Applied test voltage. (2) Tirae duration of test. , (3) Test readings. (4) Time, date and temperature at which tests were conducted. 6. Submit six copies of all test data to the Engi­ neer for the Port Authority's records and ap­ proval. 7. All high potential tests shall be conducted in the presence of the Port Authority Engineer. The subcontractor shall give at least 24 hours notice to the Engineer in writing, in advance of the time at which the above tests are to be conduc­ ted. 8. The Port Authority Engineer reserves the right to determine the adequacy of. all cables based on the tests. Where, in the opinion of the Port Autho­ rity Engineer, the test data indicates a marginal cable, the acceotance or rejection of the par- i:icu.lar cable by the Port Authority Engineer shall be final. All rejected cables shall be reworked or replaced as required, entirely at the subcontractor's expense. 9= All communication with the Port Authority shall be through Olympia and York.
