I spoke to John Leitner of Ambient Group (Environmental Consultant for the Bank) today. The plans for the building as of now are: 1. The bank is bidding out a job to scaffold the entire building then seal it in plastic. This is to control emmissions, if any. 2. Presently, Ambient is doing TEM air monitoring on the side walk and roof daily. All samples are negative so far. 3. The Bank plans to bid out the clean up as one job and do everything simultaneously, that is both interior and exterior. 4. The scaffold bid process may take a couple of weeks to complete. However, when its completed, the containment will start ASAP. 5. They are working with a time frame of about 6 months to decide on what to do with the building, that is demo or restore.
