c. A schedule of equipment to be used including numbers and types of all major equipment such as HEPA - vacuums.
2. A written, detailed, job-specific plan of the procedures proposed for use in complying with the requirements of this specification. The plan shall include the following:
a. Location and layout of decontamination areas;
b. Location and layout of all negative air units and the HEPA filtered window mounted manifolds used for make-up air, as well as all calculations performed to verify that it meets the ventilation requirements of these specifications.
c. The sequencing of contaminated dust, debris and material removal work;
d. The interface of trades involved in the performance of the work;
e. Methods to be used to assure the safety of building occupants and visitors to the work site.
3. Description of protective clothing and approved respirators to be used, including make, model, and NIOSH approval numbers.
4. List of workers (chain-of-command).
5. Delineation of the responsibility of work site supervisory personnel, their names, resumes, pager numbers and home telephone numbers.
6. Explanation of decontamination sequence and isolation techniques for the Work Area.
7. Description of any prepared methods, procedures, techniques, or equipment other than those specified in the Contract Documents.
8. Description of the final clean-up procedures to be used.
9. Written description of emergency procedures to be followed in case of injury or fire. This section must include evacuation procedures, source of medical assistance (name and telephone number) and procedures to be used for access by medical personnel (examples: first aid squad and physician).
NOTE: Necessary Emergency Procedures Shall Take Priority Over All Other Requirements of These Specifications.
10. Product data and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for sealants, firestopping foam, cleaners/disinfectants, spray adhesive, water-based strippable coatings and any and all potentially hazardous materials that may be employed on the project in accordance with the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). No work involving the aforementioned will be allowed to proceed until MSDS's are reviewed and approved by the Owner. Include a separate attachment for each sheet indicating the specific worker protective equipment proposed for use with the material(s) indicated.
