02 PROJECT COORDINATION
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 NOTIFICATIONS:
A. The Contractor shall make all required notifications associated with this contract to include, but not limited to, those listed in Section 04 Codes, Regulations and Standards.
1.02 ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL:
A. Provide a qualified Supervisor for continuous supervision of all work, and to be responsible for the following:
1. Ensure that individuals are wearing proper personal protective equipment and are trained in its use.
2. Maintain entry log records.
3. Surveillance of the work areas at a minimum of once per work shift, to ensure that the workers’ personal protective equipment is not tom or ripped and that respiratory protection is worn at all times. Document all inspections in the project log.
4. Ensure that sufficient personal protective equipment is stored in the clean room.
5. Take precautions to prevent heat stress from occurring, such as selecting lightweight protective clothing, reducing the wrk rate, and providing adequate fluid breaks.
1.03 PRE-PROJECT MEETING:
A. The Contractor shall attend a pre-project meeting as scheduled. This meeting shall also be attended by the Owner, Ambient Group, and (if they desire) a designated project representative from each Tenant. At this meeting, the Contractor shall present copies of the following items, bound and indexed.
1. Schedules: the Contractor shall provide to the Owner a copy of the following schedules for approval. Once approved, schedules shall be maintained and updated as received. Contractor shall post a copy of all schedules at the site:
a. A project schedule stating critical dates of the project including start and completion of (at a minimum) mobilization. Work Area preparation, demolition, gross removal, fine cleaning, inspection, clearance testing and demobilistion. The schedule shall be updated weekly.
b. A schedule of staffing stating the number of workers per shift per activity, name and number of supervisor(s) per shift, shifts per day, and total days to be worked. Submit all changes in schedule or staffing to the Owner and Ambient Group, Inc.
