EPA requested to vacuum streets as per Mike Gilsenen.
Update: EPA said they would take care of this.
EPA was requested to clean streets and sidewalks in the following areas:
South End Av, from Albany to Liberty;
Washington, from Rector St to Cedar St.; ,
Cedar St.. from Washington to Greenwich;.
Fulton, from Broadway to Church;
Thames, from Broadway to Greenwich.
Dust Control
Once again, it was reported that, due to the high winds this morning, dust was a problem.
Debris loads
Update; FDNY stated that a deluge system should be installed at the truck wash station or
hot material should be placed on the side and allowed to cool before being loaded on to
the trucks. ‘
