MANHATTAN: BUILDING EVACUATED Two people were evacuated from a three-story building at 783 Eighth Avenue last night after the facade bowed on one side. After responding to reports from onlookers just after 8 p.m. of a gaping crack next to a second-story window of a building between 47th and 48th Street, police and firefighters closed off several blocks along Eighth Avenue to traffic.
