• Results of Air Testing:

• Update on HEPA Vacuuming of Financial District:
Clean-up continued through the night at financial district and Wall Street area.
There is a problem vacuuming to the west of B’way, the noise created by the
machine interfered with the rescuers activities. A Deputy Inspector fiom the
Police Department halted activity west of Broadway.
EPA contractors will begin clean-up of City Hall Park and Park Row sidewalks at
7AM this morning.
• Derelict Vehicle Update:
Thus far, all derelict and towed vehicles have been moved to 2 locations:
1. Pier 76 (between 34 & 35 Streets)
2. Market Slip (under FDR). ( Total of 50 Vehicles at both sites)
EPA will HEPA vac dirt and d’ \ s at these two sites.
Another site to be established on file south side of the Hot Zone for vehicles that
are to be taken out of file hot spot (Washington & Carlysle this not yet
confirmed).
