Bulk/Wipe Sampling for Asbestos: 9/11, 9/16, 9/23, 9/26 .. Attachment 3
DERTA performed bulk and wipe sampling at the locations noted in attachment.
PCB Wipe Sampling on transformers: 9/27 .. Attachment 4
DERTA performed PCB wipe sampling per EPA request on 2 buried transformers at
WTC building # 7. See attachment for results.
Testing at B5 & B6 sublevel at WTC attack site: 9/30, 10/1 .. Attachment 5
DERTA performed confined space entry into B5 & B6 sublevels with Port Authority
Police & FDNY. DERTA performed ambient air monitoring and testing of flood waters
for the following:
Non-Potable Flood Waters:
Level B5 & B6: Tested for Volatile Organic Compounds, Chlorodifluoromethane (Freon
22), (B5: 6 samples taken; B6: 4 samples taken).
Salinity Testing: Level B5: 6 samples taken; Level B6: 4 samples taken.
