q- Dishwashers toe plates will be removed and the floor beneath the appliance will be
cleaned.
r. Protective covers on finned radiant heaters and baseboard heaters will be removed to
expose heat elements. Fins are to be brushed and vacuumed to remove dust.
s. All cleaning equipment will be vacuumed and/or wet wiped for use on the residence.
7. HEPA air filtration devices (AFDs) will run continuously during all clcaningaclixhies as
appropriate given site conditions. A minimum of one air change every SChjminutes shall be
provided. A standard 1200 cfin device shall be installed per 36.000 cubic feet.
8. An adequate number of asbestos supervisors shall be present at each work place (work place
is defined in Title 15, Chapter 1 RCNY as the work area and tlie decontaniination enclosure
system).
9. A cleaning checklist (to be developed) will be compiledthe supervisor at the completion
of the cleaning.
10. A thorough visual inspection will be conducted by the Project MonitorTo verify the absence
of visible dust accumulations. Additional clean-up procedurek„shatl be performed where
vsibledus. is observed.
11. Air sampling shall be performed by the Air Sampling Technician after the area is free of dust
accumulations as determined Proje^donitor. If the apartment does not meet the 30
year 10-04 risk based clean up criteria the apartment wi 11 be recleaned and retested.

12. Any damage or loss to' that occurs iing is the responsibility of the cleaning

13. All waste generated >hall be treated as asbestos containing material. Transportation and
disposal of generated waste shall be in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
