q- Dishwashers toe plates will be removed and the floor beneath the appliance will be
cleaned.
r. Protective covers on finned radiant heaters and baseboard heaters will be removed to
expose heat elements. Fins are to be brushed and vacuumed to remove dust.
s. All cleaning equipment will be vacuumed and/or wet wiped for use on the residence.
7. HEPA air filtration devices (AFDs) will run continuously during all cleanhig activities as
appropriate given site conditions. A minimum of one air change T^^mutes shall be
provided. A standard 1200 efin device shall be installed per 36,000 cubic feet.
8. An adequate number of asbestos supervisors shall be present at each work place (work place
is defined in Title 75, Chapter 1 RCNY as the work area and the decontamination enclose
systen,).
9. A cleaning checklist (to be developed) will be completed by the supervisor at the completion
ofthe cleaning. / X,
10. A thorough visual inspection will be conducted by the Project Moi^^Wo verify the absence
of visible dust accumulations. Additional/%lean-up procedures shall be performed where
visible dust is observed.
11. Air sampling shall be performed by the Air Sampling Technician after the area is free of dust
accumulations as determined by the Project Monitor. Tf the apartment does not meet the 30
year 10-04 risk based clean up criteria the apartment will be recleaned and retested.
12. Any d^age or loss to that occurs during cleaning is the responsibility of the cleaning
cont|acior. The cleaning comractor is not responsible for damage or loss caused by the acts
of patties not invoh cd in the cleanup.
13. Alt waste generated shall be treated as asbestos containing material. Transportation and
disposal of generated waste shaU.be in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
