Priority Proiects List: The Priority Projects List and cover memo will be submitted to D/M theta this week.
Bloomingdale Park: The comment period on the DEIS closed February 21. MOEC will work with DDC and its consultants to formulate responses to the comments for inclusion in the Final EIS.

West Nile Virus EIS' Internal review of the draft EIS chapters is proceeding according to schedule. A revised draft of the "Public Health" chapter will be distributed for internal review within the next week. DOH is asking for clarification of a written offer from the pesticide manufacturers to share (through DEC) information on inert ingredients with AKRF (DOH's consultant) on the condition that DOH itself not have access to the information. (FYI — a copy of RISE's proposed terms is attached.)
KeySpan/Coney Island: MOEC provided its sections of the draft response to KeySpan to DCAS; we have not yet received a draft of the complete document from DCAS for final review. KeySpan has still not contacted DEP regarding site investigation protocols.
EDC Projects:. MOEC continues to work closely on a number of EDC-managed projects. The most important projects currently being reviewed are the Fulton Fish Market at Hunts Point, the High Line, the East River Science Park, and the Museum of African Art! Edison Schools. In addition, MOEC is reviewing an EAS for the Tweed Courthouse staircase and permanent closure of a lane of Chambers Street.
With regard to the Fulton Fish Market at Hunts, MOEC recently received an updated series of draft environmental review documents (a lead agency letter, a positive declaration, EAS and a draft seeping document) from EDC's consultants. We will submit our comments on these documents in the next few days and will work with EDC and the proper technical agencies to make certain that these documents, and especially the draft seeping document, are thorough, complete and legally defensible.
As for the High Line project, Michael Carey briefed the Mayor on this project last Friday. However, EDC is still awaiting sign-off from Deputy Mayor Harding before issuing the negative declaration.
MOEC recently received a copy of the SEQRA Final EIS for the Bellevue Hospital Center Ambulatory Care Facility and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner DNA Laboratory Projects, prepared by DASNY.
