Mr. Robert Harding Deputy Mayor The City of New York
VIA FACSIMILE. (212) 518-0235 (4 pages including cover sheet)
Dear Deputy Mayor Harding:
Please forgive the intrusion during this difficult period. It was suggested by our council, Mr. Peter Piscitelli that we write to you directly to explain our situation and seek your advice on a remedy.
Our hotel is located on Wall Street between William Street and Hanover Street After the September 11,. 2001 tragedy, we served as a relief center but since last Tuesday, we have been busy getting the hotel back in operation. Now that we are freshly scrubbed and open to the world, we have no guests as general vehicular below Canal Street is off limits. Now we realize that this is a low priority but if we could make arrangements to have at least limousine service with our logo and proper identification available this will ensure that now that the hotel is open, we will not have to close for lack of business. Any assistance or advice in this regard that you can offer is greatly appreciated.
In the meanwhile, if there is anything else we can do to aid in the recovery efforts please do not hesitate to contact me on any of these direct telephone numbers; Business: (212) 699-5600, Cellular (646) 263-6827, and Home (917) 432-0065.
Best regards,
CRJK/mo
