NYC 9/11 Public Portal Document
Section 11.0, Page 16:
61. The title for this section should read "Disposal Facilities."
Done.
Section 12. Pane 16:
62. Add hazardous waste determination documents, including all analytical results.
Done.
Additional Comments:
63. Since water will need to be used during the wash-down of the exterior of the
building, the Waste Sampling and Management Plan should describe how that water will
be contained, characterized, stored, and disposed of depending on the sampling results.
The Waste Sampling and Management Plan should be revised to incorporate specific
details on the sampling scheme for the water to be used during the building wash-down
or its use during any other aspects of this deconstruction project (e.g., any other exterior
work, as an engineering control during abatement activities, etc.). Some of this
information is noted in Part I - Revised Work Plan for Abatement and Demolition and
should also be specified in the Waste Sampling and Management Plan.
See section 8.4.
64. The Waste Sampling and Management Plan should include details on what type of
containers/tanks the washdown/wastewater will be stored and the location of these
containers/tanks at the site. Details should be provided on the mechanism(s) to be used to
transfer water into the storage containers/tanks.
See section 8.4.
65. If Airtek plans to use a water filtration system capable of filtering particles down to
5 microns prior to final disposal, Airtek should provide details on how it plans to manage,
characterize, store, dispose, and transport of the spent filters. The same information
should also be provided for the PPE.
See section 8.4.
