1.05 SUBMITTALS

A. Manufacturers Literature: Submit Manufacturer's specification, loads tables, dimensions diagrams, anchor details and Installation Instruction for products to be used In the fabrication of miscellaneous metal work, Including paint products.

B. Shop Drawings: Shop drawings for the fabrication and erection of all assembles of miscellaneous iron work which are not completely shown by Manufacturer's data sheets. Include plans and elevations at not less than 1" to 1'-0" scale, and Include details of sections and connections at not less than 3' to 1'-0" scale. Show anchorage and accessory items.

C. Welding shall be indicated on shop drawings using AWS symbols and showing length, size and spacing (If not continuous). Auxiliary views shall be shown to clarify all welding. Notes such as 1/4" weld, weld and tack are not acceptable.

PART 2.00 — PRODUCTS

2.01 MATERIALS

A. Metals

1. Metal Surfaces, General: For fabrication of miscellaneous metal work which will be exposed to view, use only materials which are smooth and free of surface blemishes including pitting, seam marks, roller marks, rolled trade names and roughness.

2. Steel Plates, Shapes and Bars: ASTM A36

3. Steel Bar Grating: ASTM A569 or ASTM A36.

4. Steel Tubing: Cold formed, ASTM A500; or hot rolled, ASTM A501.

5. Structural Steel Sheet: Hot rolled, ASTM A570; or cold rolled, ASTM A611, Class 1; of grade required for design loading.

6. Galvanized Structural Steel Sheet ASTM A446, of grade required for design loading. Coating designation as indicated, or If not indicated, G90.
