Dear Mr. Radhalocishnam.
In lieu of the necessary building renovation and site conditions at this site, it is necessary to perform
asbestos abatement procedures before any renovation.activities can take place.
Our petition for variance involves roofing/flashing/tar, VAT/mastic, pipe insulation, ceiling/wall/columns
slam coat plaster, boiler insulation, transite panels, windows/lintels caulking, fire doors and electrical
wires.
Reason for Requesting a Variance Petition
Due to the fact that there are practical difficulties in constructing a full containment and the
large quantities which exist at this site as required by regulations, East Coast Haz Mat
Removal, Inc. is requesting the following variances from Title 15 Chapter 1 of the Rules of the
City of New York:
