Decontamination units that are attached to tents shall comprise at least'a shower room and a•clean room, with one curtained .doorway separating them, and with a second curtained doorway separating the tent from the shower room. After the ACM removal and bagging, the bagged waste shall be HEPAvacuumed then wet cleaned and transferred into the airlock or into the shower room for double. bagging, and thereafter the double-bagged waste shall be transferred outside the clean room for its final transfer to storage in a holding area and/or to legal means of disposal.

Additional Requirements for Work Area: B (Pipe Shaft)

Modified tents shall be constructed at the each entry to pipe shaft. An airlock shall.be constructed at the entrance to every modified lent Remote decontamination unit shall be constructed in the distance of maximum 50 linear feet from every modified tent. Large Personal and Waste . decontamination unit shall be constructed and attached to modified tent at the ground floor level. Minimum of one air volume change per 10 minutes through entire pipe shaft - modified tent shall be maintained. Upon completion of removal, each surface shall be HEPA vacuumed, and then wet-wiped to remove any loose visible debris and coated with a transparent encapsulant. Prior to the completion of each shift, the single disposable bag will be brought over to the waste decon unit (wash room), where the bags shall be wetted down and placed into an additional 6-mil disposable bag. The second disposable will be secured with water resistant duct tape, labeled and brought down to hhe waste container for storage until the completion of work. Upon completion of entire pipe shaft work area and acceptable visual clearance, final air clearance with TEM method shall be perform by independent monitoring company.
