Parc Place (225 Rector Place): Tested 9/23-28/01, 10/31, 11/15-16, 11/28/01

1. One hundred twenty five ambient air samples for asbestos were collected from 9/23-28/Oland analyzed by PCM. All areas samples recorded fiber levels less than or equal to 0.01f/cc.

2. Eighty-two ambient air samples for asbestos were collected 10/31, 11/15-16,11/28/01and analyzed by TEM. The results indicated that the living areas achieved the acceptance criteria below <70 structures per mm2.

3. One of the samples taken from the roof over the garage and pool area was above standards for asbestos by PLM. Asbestos abatement was conducted 10/05/01 by Hazardous Elimination Corp. and repeat testing was negative.

4. Five ambient air samples were collected for fiberglass on 11/16, 11/28/01 and analyzed by PCM. All areas samples recorded fiber levels less than or equal to 0.01f/cc.

Tribeca Tower (105 Duane Street): Awaiting official report. Per Mr. Hoyle:

ATC Associates found that no samples were over the asbestos standard. A mechanical hygienist was hired to HEPA vacuum and clean ducts in the basement. An Inspector Slobek (?) was also present during cleanup activities.

Residents hired their own consultant- he used the microvac method and found samples positive for asbestos. Non-profit lawyer also hired by residents. Currently involved in a lawsuit.

Tribeca Park (400 Chambers Street): Awaiting official report. Per Mr. Hoyle: ATC Associates conducted over 200 air and bulk samples. Air sampling: 3 samples in common areas/hallways and 2 apartment samples. Dust sampling also conducted.

Clean-up Activities by Building Manager: Two Asbestos Abatement companies were used for cleanup.

1. All cleanup activities were at cost to the landlords. 2. Common areas were HEPA vacuumed. 3. The outsides of buildings were HEPA vacuumed and washed down with water (including apartment balconies). 4. The grounds were vacuumed and all bulk material was removed.
