Dear Mr. Levin on:
Matthew Stock of GAC Environmental, Inc. ("GAC") performed a limited asbestos inspection on
September 17, 2001 at 85 John Street, located in New York, NY. Provided below is summary of
the inspection and recommendations:
.Asbestos Inspection Protocol
Matthew Stock of GAC performed an asbestos study in accordance with all AHERA. NYS and
NYC testing protocols, as follows:
• A visual determination was made as to the location and type of suspect ACM debris. This
debris was caused by thn destruction of buildings the World Trade Center on September 11,
at
2001.
• An assessment of the physical condition of the suspect ACM was made. The condition of
each ACM finding were evaluated as good, fair, and poor.
• An assessment of the potential for future disturbances:of the suspect ACM was identified. All
categories were
rated as high, moderate or low po!tcntial for disturbances. The measurement of
all suspect ACM identified were made to determine exact quantities of ACM after laboratory
analysis is completed.

• All suspect ACM were analyzed by the Transmission Electron Microscopy ("TEM")
Polarized Light Microscopy:(PLM) methods of analysis.
