RE: 53 Park Place Apartment Inspection Protocol

A. During Cleaning Phase

EM&CA air monitoring technicians shall enter each work area during the cleanup and visually verify that all specified cleaning procedures have been properly completed in accordance with the cleaning protocol. Project Manager shall provide air sampling technicians with copy of Owner's requirements regarding specific items (i.e. electronic equipment, computers etc.). PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAILING OF KITCHEN area including disposal of all food and drink items except those that are in factory sealed cans or bottles which can be properly decontaminated. Confirm the washing of all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, removal of all objects from cabinets, closets, etc. and the wet wiping and HEPA vacuuming of all exterior and interior surfaces including tops of cabinets, drawers, moldings on cabinets and doors, light fixtures, move refrigerators and clean exposed floor and walls, etc. Kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, etc. shall not be returned to cabinets/drawers until successful final visual inspection by Project Manager/Supervisor.

B. Preliminary Final Inspection

After Step A has been completed and Contractor requests a final inspection, the air monitoring technician shall verify the absence of visual dust in the work area. After contaminated electronic or other specific; items specified by Owner are externally wet wiped/HEPA vacuumed they shall be sealed air tight in two layers of six mil poly and be labeled as contaminated waste. After all specified cleaning procedures have been completed and work area has passed visual inspection, air monitoring technician shall notify Project Manager that the work area is ready for final visual inspection.

C. Final Visual Inspection I Shall be performed concurrently by Consultant's Project Manager and Contractor's Supervisor with touchup crew and step ladder. Any required cleaning shall be done and/or any non- conformances shall be corrected at the time of inspection. Verify that the Owner's requirements regarding specific items have been adhered to. Notify Owner of any variations from specific item requirements. Transport all contaminated specific items to location specified by Owner prior to clearance air monitoring. When a work area passes Contractor's and Consultant's final inspection, conduct final air monitoring. Notify Owner upon receipt of written successful clearance air monitoring results.
