2. Contaminated clothing, which is to be cleaned, laundered or disposed of, must be placed in a clearly
marked closed container in the designated changing area.
3. Clean protective gear in accordance with the Airtek training sessions and respiratory program. Wash
hands and face.
Eating areas or lunchrooms will be the only area in which employees may eat and drink during the work
shift. Employees may not wear their protective clothing in this area.
Employees will be required to wash prior to using the designated eating area.
5. At no time may lead be removed from protective clothing by any means which results in
uncontrolled dispersal of lead.
6. Remove shoe covers (these must not be left in work area). Work area must be left clean before lunch
and at end of the day.
7. Remove protective clothing and gear in the controlled section of the designated changing area.
Remove protective coveralls by carefully rolling down the garment to reduce exposure to dust.
8. Remove respirator last.
In addition to the procedures described above, employees will obey the following procedures at all sites:
