Dear Mr. Orlan:
At your request, ATC Associates, Inc. representative Mr. Yiannis Efstathiou visited the High School for Leadership and Public Service (M894) located at 90 Trinity Place, New York, NY 10006 on May 23, 2002. The purpose of the site visit was to perform a settled dust bulk sampling to be analyzed for fiberglass fiber content on areas indicated to ATC by New York City Board of Education (NYC-BOE) and as outlined in the approved by the NYC-BOE sampling protocol for the school. These areas are the following:
• U‘Floor Lobby • Cafeteria • Auditorium • Two random classrooms • Third floor hallway • Fifth floor hallway • Seventh floor hallway • Ninth floor hallway • Thirteenth floor hallway
Bulk samples of settled dust to be analyzed for fiberglass fiber content were collected only from locations where there was sufficient amount of settled dust for bulk sampling and analysis. This week ATC was able to collect settled dust bulk saniples to be analyzed for fiberglass content from all the aforementioned locations.
