Re: Report of Ongoing Air Monitoring Performed On May 14,2002 TRC Project Number: 35052-0000-00011
Dear Mr. Mills;
TRC Engineers, Inc. (TRC) performed air monitoring on May 14, 2002 in the space occupied by New York City Law Department and exterior to 100 Church Street as part of the ongoing air monitoring program.
Representative samples for Total Dust, Metals, Asbestos, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Temperature and Relative Humidity were collected outside and inside the building on the 2"“ and 3rd floors.
Most results were below the analytical detection limit and all were below (i.e., better than) the respective Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). A copy of the test results along with OSHA permissible exposure limits for detected parameters is attached.
The results of this on-going sampling effort support and confirm TRC’s recommendation in the April 8, 2002 Environmental Health Risk Assessment Report to reoccupy the space.
Should you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at (212) 563-3933.
Sincerely,
TRC ENGINEERS, INC.
