We have reviewed toe domestic watar booster system located on the 7th floor wth die stqiplier ofthesystem. The jimnp provided has beatingsthat ate water cooled. This discharge is very limited in flow. To eliminate the problem of getting rid of this water, we propose the use of an automatic pump and collection tank unit This unit will be installed adjacent to the pomp package and will sit on the waterproofed floor. The pump unit shall be:
• Federal Pump Corporation model AITV automatic unit
• Heavy duty lO gallon
• Pump: 1/3 Kp. 1750 RPM -Single phase 60 eye. US volt with cord and plug -20 GPM -10 ft. hd. *2" inlet - 1" discharge
Provide 2” trap and iumwl on tide inlet for psoposed LW. fiom bearing seals of doroeetic pump system. Connect pump disc^targe p^ to tK exxstmg anop pump diacharga pipe at the eotridor wall Provide check vidve and riratoff valve in discharge piping.
A120V 30 amp receptacle shall Im provided at toe loeatioo ofthe new pomp for plug in connection. This shall be coordinated with toe electrical contractor. We era reviewing die building alternate to toe self contained pEunp and tank unit.
