The Anti Syphon Valve should be removed from the pump suction pipe A check valve should be insuillcd as close to the tank inlet as pos-sible. This check valve will help ke sp the suction line primed (A review of the existing job fries for iliis particular building die not conCnP the existence of a foot valve in the supply line). One item 11 lid not notice was whether all of the pump sets had cheek valves on tlwir respective '.action pipe. Ifnot, 1 recommend installation of a chock valve on each. This will preven the siphoning effect from any of the sets when any one or more of the units are in the a n mode. ■ I The 2" sudiO.T pipe diameter is sulTeient for the sinidlcr pump sets (total 1.189 GPH) dunng nontal fill Operation, as well as the tenant lank fill pump set (l.lXX) GPH). Punch a lolc in the dm T. then weld (complete) the boss in place. The switch is screwed through the loss for the pt spet lever action.
