RE: 7 World Trade Center Violation #10054908-4

Dear Ms. O' Connor:

On November 2Sth, of 1989, one of your inspectors, Lt. Joseph A. Pupino made an unannounced visit tc our facility at #7 World Trade Center in New York City. According to Chapter #19 of the New York City Administrative Code, "Inspections shall be made on an annual basis." We, on the other hand, recently had an inspection in June 13, 1989, only five (5) months previous to our recent visit. We complied with all three (3) violations on your last visit and again rule #19, "Affidavits/Bocumentation,^Plans should be updated as deemed necessary." The Fire Safety Plan was recently updated in cur last violation report and is hereby submitted again, in its entirety. We, at 7 World Trade, feel that our format and guidelines, only 6 months revised is a more adaptable plan than the one which your inspector submitted, which hasn't been revised since August of 1972. Our format has been approved by the Fire Safety Director of the Port Authority, from which we are a contingent. Your department, also accepted and approved the Fire Safety Plan back on April 18,1988. (B) Rule #6 - Signs, Postings and Instructions Failed to provide signs properly orientating the floor diagram on the 11th and 12th floor. In addition, provide and post fail safe re-entry signs on all doors on occupancy side of stairway A and B. (1) The floor diagram signs on both the 11th and 12th floors were previously approved by the Port Authority Inspectors, prior tc issuance of a C.O. However, in good faith. we have instructed the tenant research the diagram further,, and turn same 180 degrees around tc conform ’w i t h the positioning that your inspector requested.
