(2) The signs, which were also part of the previous violation report, have been re-hung as requested. They w’ere removed when additional construction started and the doors were painted and never re-hung. They are now on all occupied floors of the building. (C) Rule #30 - Fire Safety in Office Buildings - Form and adequately train all members of the Fire Brigade. I The fire brigade i^ trained and instructed as to the individual duties in case of an emergency. The one exception your inspector took vjas that I was the resident Fire Safety Director and also head of the fire brigade could not leave the command station in case of fire. I have replaced my name with one of our resident engineers and thus will hold our quarterly seminars in February, 1390 for refresher training.

As instructed by the Port Authority Fire Safety Director, any future inspections (not until November of 1330) will be announced prior the arrival of your inspector. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and should further questions arise, please free to contact me at (212) 551-7370.

Sincerely,

William T. Kesner Fire Safety Director
