RB: 7di Floor Domestic Booster System Bearing Drips

We have reviewed the domestic water booster system located on die 7th floor with die st^pUer of the system. The jJump provided has bearinga that arc v^der cooled. Thia discharge is very limited in flow. To climinato the problem of getting rid of this water, we propose die use of an antomatic pump and collection tank unit This unit will be installed adjacent to the pomp package a^ will sit on the waterproofed floor.

The pump unit shall be:

• Federal Pun^ Coiporation model AITV automatic unit • Heavy duty lO gallon

• Pmiip; 1/3 h.p. 1750 RPM -Single phase 60 eye. It 5 volt with cord and plug -20 GPM-10 ft. hd. >2" inlet - 1" discharge

Provide 2“ trq? and funnel on tank inlet for proposed I.W. flom bearing mis of domestic pump system. Cotmect pump discharge pipe to the existing strap pump discharge pipe at the corridor wall. Provide check vidve and shi^ff valve in discharge piping.

A120V 30 amp receptacle shaU be provided at die locatioa of die new pump for plug in connection. This shall be coordinated with the electrical contractor. We am reviewing die building alternate to die self coateined pixunp and tank unit
