There are low points on Riverside Drive that accumulate runoffs during rainstorms. This accumulation runs down into the Amtrak Area.

a) The west curb line reveal on Riverside Drive between West 139th Street and West 140th Street is 1". (Standard curb line 6" ) .

b) The section Map #2119 from Topographical Bureau on Riverside Drive between west 139th Street and West 140th Street shows good pitch for runoff. (See attached sketch).

It is recommended that a Highway Capital Project be prepared to bring the street pavement to its legal grade so that a rain water will enter the catch basins and ponding will be eliminated.

4) On Riverside Drive and West 146th StreeJl

A leak was detected, and a sample analysis was performed. It was proven to be sewage. A sewer break report (CC#87569858) has been submitted to ^^epair the sewer at West 145th Street between Broadway and Riverside Drive. The reconstruction of the sewer would stop the leak. (See attached break sheet).
