New York, NY 19019 Dear Mr. Carlock: In reply to your latest submittal of plans for the referenced project with. ? letter dated January 29, 19 please be; in formed of the following comments of this Department:
1) The load from the new reconstructed telephone manhole, located above the section of the proposed 13" Dia’. D,T.P. sewer between manhole #3 and the existing man- hole in Church Ctroet, should be carried do'm to an clovetion belovz t'-e subgrade of the .scorer, as shown in dot.-iled section C-C. The east end west walls m.av be extended doxm and supported by continuous footings. Broken stone shcuid be placed, under and around the 19" Die. D.I. sewer.
2) The section of proposed sewer between mnnlioles 1)2 and 3 should be located so that its centerline is 2’-I" from the north building line of Dey Street. This same centerline clearance should .be provided between the sevzer and the O.D. of the 23" Dia. steam main casing.
3) Before final approval can be given f(3'£ these plans, the details of the non-standard manholes and any other spacial sever structures must be received for our review.
