Manhattan Borough Engineer Bureau of Water Supply 30 Pike Street New York, New York 10002 Re; Lincoln Tunnel - Replacement of High Pressure Water Line - West 39th Street, Manhattan - Contract No. LT-246 Dear Mr. Melnichuk: Please be advised that the Port Authority intends to replace a 6" high pressure water line in West 39th Street approximately 60 feet west of the curb line of 11th Avenue, Manhattan. In this connection, we arb providing attached Contract No. LT-246, "Replacement of 39th St. High Pressure Water Line" for your suggestions and comments. We intend to advertise this Contract on June 18, 1981 so your early reply is appreciated. At the same time, it is requested that Messrs. LaGreca and Novotny also comment based on their respective copies of this letter. If there are any questions, Mr. Wes Lent may be contacted on (212) 466-7196. Thank you for your cooperation.
