3. Concrete shall be placed throucjh funnel hopper and inserted into pipe pile and permitted to drop through funnel. The first material placed shall be one cubic foot of 1:2 cement-sand mortar follOT^rd by specified concrete. K. ANALYSES AND CORRECTIVE MEASURES T The analysis and redesign work called for herein shall be performed for the Contractor by the Founda­ tion Engineer. Cost for this work shall be at the Subcontractor's expense. 2. The Foundation Engineer shall analyze the piles.. as driven, to determine whether corrective measures are required. If corrective measures are not required, approval will be given for preceeding with the concrete vzork and there will be no cost for corrective work to the Subcontractor. 3. The Foundation Engineer shall determine the correc­ tive measures required to keep pile loads within allowable limits for those piles driven more than 3 inches from plan location, more than 2% out of plumb, or rejected for whatever reason. Al.l costs shall be at the Subcontractor's expense. 4. If corrective measures involve the ^(bahdohment of piles ,the installation of additional piles, the modi­ fication of pile caps and slabs, the supplemental drawings will be prepared by the Foundation Engineer at the Subcontractor's expense and t.he cost of performing the corrective work shall be at the Sub­ contractor's expense, including furnishing and driving piles, furnishing and placing concrete and all other related materials and work.
