Battery Park City Commercial Center Eldg. "B" WTC River Water Intake System Relocations (2) Qualification Tests In addition to these tests required by each cable specification, samples of the cables (at least two of each size to be supplied) shall be immersed in water as epr (IPCEA Publication Standards S-19-81, Section 6.9.2, ex­ cept that the temperature shall be 9O‘’C, and the sample shall be continu­ ously energized with 600 volts, 60 hertz. At the end of two weeks, the samples shall be de-energized and im­ mersed in water at room temperature (2O‘’C) for at least six hours, and then submitted to the following tests while still immersed in water? Insulation Rresistanca; Measured insulation resistance, in megohms based on a thousand conductor feet, shall not be less than that indicated in table No. 40, UL Standard No. 44. Direct-Current Voltage Test: The samples shall withstand for five (5) minutes a direct-current volt­ age equal to the dielectric test potential indicated in UL Standard No. 44 (Table No. 37). (3) Type USE-E Ethylene-propylene rubber insulation, heavy-duty thermosetting jacket, multiple rates "fjse-RHH-PHW", Interim Standard No. 1 to IPCEA Publi­ cation S-6-8-516, UL Standard No. 854. (4) Type Use-R - !Rubber insulation.- heavy- duty neoprene jacket, multiple- rated "USE-RHH-RHW", Interim IPCEA Publica- tion S-19-81, OL Standards No. 44 and 854.
