Other Chemicals Substances: A number of different chemical substances and compounds were used or stored in the WTC Complex at the time of the collapse. These substances and compounds were required for various reasons, including building infrastructure and support, original construction materials, etc. Table 2 provides Chemical Exposure and Treatment information for the chemical substances and compounds that are known to have been in the WTC Complex at the time of the collapse.

It is noted that the information provided here refers to the pure form of the subject chemical. The heating of some of these materials can result in hazardous decomposition products, many of which may not be known under the extreme conditions at this Site.
