CleaningofHVAC Systems ■ / : t ■ Ifthe Project Monitor in consultation with 1 IF A determines that an 1IV AC? system requires cleaning, the cleaning contractor shall clean the IIVAC system utilizing specialized labor trained and experienced in duct cleaning. The HVAC cleaning will be conducted in accordance with National Air Duct Cteauers Association (NADCA) (foneral Specification for the Cleaning off Conunerctel Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems and the NADCA Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration Standard (ACR 2002). In the event that the HVAC systeni for an entire building requires cleaning a .separate, site specific contract will be awarded ter this work. Verification of H’^'AC .system cleanliness will be determined By the MoBittrtog COBtractor. If visible contaminants are evident through visual inspection those portions of the system where contaminants are visible shall be recleaned and subjected to rcinspection for cleanliness. /
