1. Background Study Update • It has been very difficult to get apartments for the study. So far, there are only four buildings with both common spaces and apartments that will be part of the study. • The southern boundary of the study has been moved to 74“' Street. • The IRB Review Board wants the consent form revised. In addition, they have questions about the confidentiality clause for reporting the test results.
2. Pilot Cleaning • More asbestos data has been coming in. • There have been discussions about the lead clearance criteria and wether the air or the settled dust should be tested. This issue will be discussed further.
3. Exterior Cleaning • NYC has cleaned 110 buildings. • 30 building owners have had their buildings cleaned by others. • 30-45 buildings remain to be cleaned. • There are still buildings that have not supplied licensing agreements.
