3.04 ELECTRICAL SERVICE:

A. Provide a weatherproof, grounded temporary electric power service and distribution system of sufficient size, capacity, and power characteristics to accommodate performance of work during the abatement period.

B. Provide temporary electrical panel sized and equipped to accommodate all electrical equipment required by the work. Connect temporary panel to existing building electrical system. Protect with circuit breaker or tused disconnect. Locate temporary panels as directed by the Owner.

C. Provide circuits of adequate size and proper characteristics for each use. In general, run wiring overhead and rise vertically where wiring will be least exposed to damage from work operations.

D. Protect each circuit with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) of proper size, located in the temporary panel. Do not use outlet ty3e GFCI devices.

E. Temporary wiring in the Work Area shall be type UF non-metallic sheathed cable. Provide liquid tight enclosures or boxes for wiring devices.

F. Provide sufficient branch circuits as required by the work. All branch circuits are to originate at the temporary electrical panel.

G. Provide sufficient branch circuits as required by the Owner for the collection of his air samples.

3.05 TEMPORARY LIGHTING:

A. Lock out and tag all existing power to lighting circuits in the Work Area as described in Section 07 Temporary Enclosures. Unless specifically noted otherwise, existing lighting circuits to the Work Area are not to be used. All lighting to the Work Area and Decontamination facilities is to be provided from temporary electrical panel(s) as described abo\e.

B. Provide lighting in areas where work is being performed as required to supply a 100-foot candle minimum light level.

C. Provide lighting in any area being subjected to a visual inspection as required to supply a 100- foot candle minimum light level.

D. Provide lighting in the Decontamination Unit as required to supply a 50-foot candle minimum light level.

E. Provide sufficient lighting circuits as required by the work. All lighting circuits are to originate at temporary electrical panel(s).

F. Protect each circuit with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) of proper size located in the temporary panel.

3.06 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:

A. Comply with the applicable recommendations of NFPA Standard 10 "Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers". Provide a minimum of four (4) fire extinguisher in each work area, one (1) in the
