Special Needs

Any marked Aecs.ss-A-Ride (MTA’s paratransit division} aad'or marked prix'ate antbulette van, or .sedan will be permitted to enter any areas open to pedestrian re-entry even if private vehicular traffic, is still restricted. These vehicle.? are transporting persons with disabilities lo.-'frotn locations open to them .as members of the public. .Home Care AUendgnts, Home Health Aids, and Visiting Nurses with clients in the re-entry am? are perniitted to enter but may be asked for two forms of icenUfications (one personal photo ID and agency ID).

Exeniptions

The following exemptions should be noted;

• Employees of the Mercantile Exchange, Merrill Lynch and Brookfield Properties tnay enter Battery Park City North with residents and be. pennilted to waik down the footpath. • At the present time, Merrill Lynch employee,? may only enter 4WrC and net 2WFC.. ♦ Brookfield employees also may enter'at the Battery Park Flace'We.st Street entrance to access 4 World.
