Dear Counsel: Enclosed is a Preliminary Report from the Federal Bureau of Investigation of an Industrial Hygene Survey at Staten Island Landfill from September ! 7 through December 5, 2001. • ■ .
This report was provided in the context of the FBI’s release of approximately 900 vehicles that were part of the Criminal investigation of 9-11 WTC.
The City, within the context of a class action lawsuit is preparing to scrap many of the vehicles, and to return operable vehicles to insurance companies and private owners with a health advisory formulated by DOH and COSH.
