• Does the Department have any recommendations about which brands of HEPAvacs + Air Purifiers provide the best safety features? ?????

C. Indoor Air Testing
• Will the Health Department conduct more indoor air testing? (will you come and test my apartment?)
There are no plans at present to conduct more testing of Individual apartments. [Need some rationale]
• When will the final results of the ATSDR indoor air sampling be made available? What other substances besides asbestos and fiberglass are being analyzed? ????? The results should be available Other substances that were analyzed include: dioxin, benzene, particulate matter (size 2.5 and 10), lead, RGBs, and chromium.
• For how many hours did the air sampling occur in the ATSDR sampling? Don’t particles and substances increase during the night hours?
Sampling occurred over 5-8 hours. The focus of this project was indoor sampling. Outdoor air sampling was conducted near the building to determine how similar indoor and outdoor levels were at a location. ???? Not sure if how night hours affect particles/substance levels.
