We need to firmly and positively address the potential and emerging air quality-related health and medical concerns of responders and citizens. Toward that end:

Proposed Mission Assignments
1. For the Department of Health and Human Services:
• Quickly implement a comprehensive, national survey of all federal, state, and local WTC responders and affected citizens, for the purpose of capturing their post-response medical or health status.
• Establish a National Health Registry to capture the survey information, track and identify both emerging trends and long-term health effects, and to ensure health and medical recommendations are quickly conveyed to those concerned.
• Establish and identify a list of minimum health and medical recommendations (tests, treatments, etc.) for WTC responders and citizens. Recommendations should run the symptomological
