CENTRALIZED RESPONSIBILITY FOR ISSUING WATER/SEWER BILLS
The primary goals of this task were completed in mid-1995. The new "Customer Information
System" (CIS) is operating citywide, new format water / sewer bills are being issued and batch
processing and phone customer service functions are now all performed from DEP's Lefrak
facility. This concludes the majority of the effort toward "centralized responsibility for issuing
water/sewer bills."
