No significant impacts to area police and fire department services are anticipated during the implementation of any of the project alternatives.

3.6.3.10 School

The study area is located in the Manhattan Community District (CD) 1, located in New York City Board of Education School District 2. According to the latest Community District Needs 1998, there are 8 elementary schools, 6 High Schools, and 3 colleges located in the vicinity of the WTC. Table 3-10 is a list of schools located within 1 mile of the WTC site.
